Commissioned by Take a seat, 2013
Christian Kaegi, initiator of the legendary “Take a seat” project, sent us four disassembled classic Horgenglarus chairs to customise.
«The “Z am Park café” is located near a beautiful green landscape. We just couldn’t resist to reshape our chair for an alfresco experience. The seat has been grooved and the back cut in two separate pieces to create slats of wood, reminding classic outdoor benches, and allowing rain to drain and wind to stream through. The chair legs are fitted with anodized aluminum feet to increase durability. The wood is finally coated with oil for protection against the weather.»
